      <image:title>Home - Here’s the line up, starting right at 1:00 p.m. Eastern!  First we’ll hear opening remarks from Rep. Pramila Jayapal and Maria Teresa Kumar. In our first panel Analilia Mejia, co-executive director of CPD Action, will moderate a conversation with special guests Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Rep. Mark Pocan, President Liz Shuler of the AFL-CIO, and Danielle Atkinson, founding director of Mothering Justice, as they discuss the big changes won in Congress, how we got here, and our next steps. Then, Local Progress’ Executive Director Sarah Johnson will lead a discussion with special guests Rep. Veronica Escobar, State Innovation Exchange’s Co-Executive Director Jesse Ulibarri, Texas Organizing Project Co-Executive Director Michelle Tremillo, and El Paso City Representative Alexsandra Annello on how we ensure that policy change won in Washington reaches our communities. In our third panel, we’ll dive into our big vision and how we build the power to get there. Deepak Bhargava leads a discussion with special guest members of Congress Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Rep. Jamaal Bowman, Rep. Jamie Raskin, and Rep. Andy Levin. Then Lorella Praeli, Co-Executive Director of Community Change Action will lead a discussion with Damon Hewitt, President and Executive Director of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, President Mini Timmaraju of NARAL, NDN Collective Executive Director Nick Tilsen, and Hadar Susskind, President and CEO of Americans for Peace Now.  These movement leaders will dig into how we build our movements to win the big, transformative changes our communities are counting on in 2022 and beyond. Finally, we’ll close out this year’s convening with remarks from progressive champions and special guests Rep. Barbara Lee and Sen. Bernie Sanders.</image:title>
